Zarate is a Filipino-inspired concept rooted in heritage, humility, and over 25 years of hospitality. Founder Marcus Fernandez grew up in the Philippines, where his grandmother’s store on Zarate Street brought people together through food and drink. That same spirit drives everything we serve today
After moving to the States, Marcus drew inspiration from visiting the food cultures of NJ, NY, Miami, Chicago, Las Vegas, and family trips to Hawaii - all while gaining hands on experience across Atlanta's diverse dining scene. Each stop added new layers of flavor and influence that now come together inside Zarate Kitchen - a celebration of the culture within hospitality.
