Zarate Kitchen: A Legacy of Tradition and Taste
Zarate Kitchen is more than just a dining concept; it is a heartfelt tribute to heritage, blending humble beginnings overseas with over 25 years of expertise in the food and beverage industry. Its founder, Marcus Fernandez, spent his early years in the Philippines, where his grandmother’s small neighborhood store on Zarate Street was a vibrant hub of the local community. This beloved emporium served daily street food, snacks, and beverages, sparking in Marcus a deep appreciation for hospitality that still defines him today.
After moving to the United States, Marcus was driven by a passion for the culinary arts and a desire to honor his family’s legacy. His rich experiences in the hospitality industry have culminated in Zarate Kitchen, a space where he shares his diverse culture and cherished traditions with every guest. The love and care instilled in him by his grandmother, or “Lola,” are woven into each dish, reflecting a deep-rooted passion for food that comes alive in every recipe.
At Zarate Kitchen, visitors are invited to experience more than just a meal—they are welcomed to share in a culinary journey steeped in family traditions and prepared from the heart. Whether through the delightful cuisine or the deliciously crafted drinks, every bite and sip celebrates a legacy of love and care passed down through generations.
